Combining psychology with american studies [E]

Hi I have just completed my alevels. Am taking a gap year before univeristy next year . I am looking to study Psychology with american studies. I have no idea where to even begin with my personal statment. How do i incorporate my wish to study americna studies with psychology I can do the psycholog ypart!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Why do you want to take this combination? Is there a particular reason (e.g. you want to work as a psychologist in the US), or is it just out of interest for both?
