Which subject are you wanted to get into the most?
History or Law?
Since the courses are really competive, it will probably hinder your chances of getting in.
If you want to get into law then concentrate more on law. If history then do the opposite.
There are some things that you can write about both e.g problem solving, finding clues, making your own judgement..ect.
You can talk about history, helping you with law and also talk and tell them what makes you enjoy history (making it look like a interest more then your second choice but thats only if history is your second choice)
I'm sure you can choose law with history course? Maybe thats another option you can look into? So if you do talk alot about law it wont be a problem.
But these are my views and I'm not a law or history applicate. Hope it helps.
