Definitely maths. You haven't said what sort of sponsorship it is but it sounds like you've already got it, so don't need to worry about convincing anyone of your interest in actuarial science on the personal statement as it will be maths tutors reading it.

A bit more information about your sponsorship and who's offering it would be useful though.
