BA journalism - Zinnie - 09/01/2006

yo yo all: recently dropped out of edinburgh uni law school after travelling the world and realising i didn't really want to be there after all...applied again for well something to do really.Applied to Uni college Falmouth( college of Arts) BAjournalism. Not too sure if it is a going to be looked upon as a half assed degree not that i'm saying it is, i have the info on the course itself but can't find any graduate profiles on the site so if anyone has been  or knows anyone who has done or is doing BA journalism at Falmouth can you give me some info on career prospects..... £12000 is alot to pay for a good time even when you are ambitious! thanks

You should find some useful information by just searching the net. Or go to your nearest career adviser. And also many books you can buy.

Sorry dont know much about jouralism.

I wanted to do Journalism. Its more to do with the media side. Career prospects include print (newspaper) journalism and even broadcast journalism. But thats about it. The wages are shamefully low and this dettered me from doing Journalism. I'm planning to study LAW instead and then maybe go into Journalism, and if its crap, then go into legal professions.

Hope that helps.. whatever you are doing now!
