Too many subjects? - leafonthewind - 13/10/2005

I really want to do English Language and Creative Writing, but the thing is, there aren't that many unis that offer it around my predicted ABB/BBB predicted grades. Therefore I've decided to apply to some english and classics courses. Basically, my list at the moment looks like this:

English Language and Creative Writing at Lancaster - ABB
American Literature and Creative Writing at East Anglia - ABB/BBB
English Language and Classics at Edinburgh - BBB
Classics and English at King's College - BBB

Do you think this is too wide a choice of subjects to adapt my personal statement to? I'd appreciate any suggestions on writing my personal statement for these courses, or on which I should exclude, or anything really. Thanks.

If you really want to do English with Creative language then aim your personal statement on both of them. And since you have the grades you should be fine.

Since all your choices are english is shouldnt really affect it. Maybe aim in for  english more in gerneral.

Well thats what I think Smile
All the best
