Should I include in my PS why I have chosen the university I am applying to? - ... - 01/11/2007

Hm...
I was wondering... Is it relevant to give my reasons for applying to a certain university? I know I should explain why I want to take a particular course, but I am not sure whether a motivation for my choice of university is needed.

Please, tell me your opinion.

Thank you.

I don't think you should because I think that if the university really wants to know why your choosing them, they'll ask you at an interview. Also you normally apply to more than one uni so any other uni you apply to would be really put off giving you an offer.
