Personal Statement for a joint degree - Guest - 08/10/2006 I am applying for a joint English/Politics degree at my first choice Uni, but just for English at all of my others (some of whom are more exclusive than my first choice). How ought I aim my personal statement so as to give myself the best chance at my first choice Uni without alienating the others? How much (if at all) should I talk about Politics? RE: Personal Statement for a joint degree - Guest - 08/10/2006 maybe talk about reading about politics? keeping abreast of topical issues is good to mention whatever ur degree course. perhaps political books uve read etc. i dont know really. i deffinitely think u need to skew ur english towards politics, but perhaps not be too explicit about the politics. maybe ask ur school careers advisor or someone like that? |
