I am too applying for an primary education course too!!! Any advice i would give you is to read up on some recent educational issues such looking in some broadsheet newspapers (e.g. The Times, Observer, Telegraph, Guardian) in the education sections or look on their websites. An article i found interesting was on whether parents should have access to teachers through text and email - it was in one of the nwspapers above that i mentioned. Also,my advice would be to go over personal statements and the course you have applied for as questions will be asked on this such as why did you apply to this particular uni? or what interested you the most about the specific course? Also think about why you want to be a teacher etc and what you think your main strengths and weaknesses are. Be confident and yourself, keep eye contact, contribute to group tasks and be happy and smiley - interviewers love that - shows your confidence!!!!!
