Please help....really need some feedback! - aj200019 - 29/11/2006

Hello,

If anyone could help me with some comments, I’d really appreciate it.

I am in the process of applying for university next year. I have applied twice before and not gone and now I am determined to get to university. I am hoping to study Psychology and Counselling but am terrified I won't get in (currently applying for Derby, Bolton, Huddersfield & Middlesex). I do have qualifications but they are basic (8 GCSE's, a first diploma in public services and a BTEC National diploma [the equivalent of 3 A Levels at grade C. I am a mature student (22yrs) so I understand that uni's have certain quota's to fill and I am currently studying an introduction course to counselling as well as working for the Samaritans so I know this is what I want to do. I don't feel I am academically clever although I hope i can handle a degree.

I have emailed direct to the universities and have gotten some feedback but will it all fall down to UCAS points that I might not have (enough of). Can anyone advise or anyone who is in the same situation?

Please help, as any feedback would be greatly appreciated
